The experience is based on a real life German polar expedition. The front bar is decorated in style, and the ice bar is as cold as the north pole itself. As cool as it can get!

Frequently asked questions
You can stay in the warm bar until the captain will call you. When you arrive at your timeslot it is usually about 30 minutes and you are able to enjoy our selection of delicious cocktails, Heineken or Desperados beer. Inside the actual Icebar, you can stay up to 20 minutes (if you dare). Afterwards you can spend as much time in the warm bar as you want.
Yes, in fact, you are encouraged to take as many photos as you want. Do not forget to tag us when you share them on social media! @berlinicebar
Upon entering, you will receive a Seaman Book that documents you as a crew member of the Hansa. The first field in the Book is for a cocktail or beer at the Lounge Bar (can also request for soft drinks).
The other two fields are for 2 drinks at the Icebar which will be served in a glass made of ice. You will be able to choose among 2 different flavours of vodka, regular vodka, sambuca, rum, Heineken beer and for the most healthy ones, orange juice.
